very nice location, easy access to everywhere, great hotel and foo is awesome for the breakfast.. personnel are great and very polite!i will surely come back to this hotel.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was a short walking distance to food outlets and shopping malls. The room rate was very reasonable.
Its location is very near the venue of our postgraduate course(sofitel)
The breakfast is wonderful. It's better than most of those of 5 stars hotels.
The location is poor & in an unsafe area. Also, rooms are the worst part of the hotel. Theybare old & small with a bad air conditioning.
We occupied a family room that is actually for 4 pax and since we were five, we requested for an extra bed and to our surprise, we were given two extra beds while paying only for one bed that really gave us extra comfort so instead of staying overnight only we stayed two nights. The location is very accessible to our planned itineraries even its our first time as a family in manila and we had no idea where really to go. We were surprised that most of the places were only few minutes from the hotel (moa, oceanpark, rizal park, intramuros, quiapo church, manila zoo, star city, roxas blvd and the ccp. The buffet style breakfast was indeed good enough for a low cost accommodation.
The shower room is quite small for a family room. It cant accommodate two at a time when you're speeding up.
The swimming pool and free shutle buss for Asia Mall, the highest mall for Asia. The food was also very good and they offer us an appartement instead a simple twin room. They also made early check in and offer us the airport transfer.
Lobby area, swimming pool, security staff, big fridge. Unable to sign for restaurant use due to mistake by reception staff-had to pay cash to an indignant restaurant manager even though I had deposited a substantial sum at reception to enable signing for restaurant use etc. This was embarrassing in front of my invited guests.Did not use the restaurant again.Restaurant management totally indifferent.
No room safe, poor internet wi-fi, very poor breakfast service (see below *),did not see the point in kitchen fittings in room when no cooking facilities provided,no utensils or cutlery,no ironing/pressing (must use hotel laundry service) allowed in room, very poor & dangerous bath/shower set up (especially for elderly and children).* although breakfast food quality was ok it was spoiled by very poor service - plenty of waiting staff but they spent most of their time talking amongst each other, tables were not cleared quickly & had to constantly ask for replenishment of coffee/tea etc.
Old charm of the Hotel , Buffet Breakfast and friendlynes of staff
No undercover outdoor area - we had three days of rain
I am happy to be able to walk to the nearby Harrison Plaza. It is easy to take a cab to China Town and from China Town easy to take a jeepney to Harrison Plaza from where I can walk back to the hotel. Also to my delight I find there is a great buddhist temple next door to the hotel. The Fo Guang's Wan Nian Si is a grand building and decent place. In conclusion, I can move around freely when I stay here.
The internet connection in the room is less than satisfiable because of weak signal.
I was staying at this lovely hotel for a conference in Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). It just a walking distance away from the center (15 minutes walking). Very convenience hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean room and worth the money I spend. The breakfast is nice with variety of local delicacies.
Wi-Fi only available at the lobby and cafeteria - hopefully in future, this facility can be made available in all the guest room.
Got a free ice tea as a welcome drink.
Wasn't very impressed by the hotel. Very tired and rooms caught in a time warp. Couldn't go in the swimming pool as it had a film of gasoline on the top from the road next to it. It says there is a hotel shuttle to the airport but this is 800 pesos where a taxi is about 200 pesos. Couldn't have the air con on at night as it was very noisy. This wasn't an executive suite by any means.
The staff were very kind and helpful, rooms were clean and their restaurant was good. They also offer free shuttle transport to the Mall of Asia. Had a very pleasant stay at Orchid Garden Suites, and I can strongly recommend it.
We really enjoyed the way the executive suite #702 is set up. I wish we could have stayed longer
It's not as close to the airport as the internet led me to believe
The hotel was excellent from all aspects. Confortable, new furnitures, cable channels. The breakfast was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants and commercial center. Near Zoo, Mall of Asia, Robinson Mall and about 15 to 20 min to the airport
the place is accessible to all, such as for shopping, transportation.
internet access in the lobby is very slow.
